A Devil Inside by David Lindsay-Abaire

A comic and twisted journey of obsession and revenge set in New York's Lower
East Side, this frantic dark comedy satirizes elements of 19th century Russian
novels, complete with seizures, hallucinations, a flooding city, nightmares,
train wrecks and suicide, all wrapped around a murder mystery with a Rube
Goldberg-like plot.

If Lucifer ever penned a play, it probably would be very like A Devil
Inside, at Gremlin Theatre. It'd be hard to find a darker, more fiendishly
funny production. David Lindsay-Abaire's script is so demented he must work
from an asylum, and director Matt Sciple has shaped the madness into something
that glows in an attractively disturbing way...

The Loading Dock Theater has never looked so good -- a shocker considering
that the stage is spewing garbage. Gremlin Theatre is responsible for the
festive papering; it's the perfect trash heap from which to launch A Devil
